This is the sister piece to Moments Between Part 1, and it's another little moment of calm in the chaos.
Like Part 1, it came from walks in the hills, those times when you stop, take a proper deep breath and feel everything settle. This one's a bit moodier, like the end of the day when the light's starting to change and the sky goes all soft and hazy. It's the quiet moment before you head home.
The sky is misty grey and soft cream, with lots of scratchy texture, like weather rolling in. Across the middle there's a glow of burnt orange and a soft band of peachy pink, like the last bit of sunlight. Below that are deep teals and slate blues, with a little flash of orange catching the light again near the bottom.
On its own, it's lovely in a living room, bedroom or hallway. But it really comes alive hung next to Part 1. Together they feel like two moments from the same walk. It looks beautiful with natural wood, wool and earthy tones. Natural oak warms it up, and dark oak brings out the moody greys and teals.
